Wedding at Oakley Farms: Shelby & Dusty

Shelby and Dusty were married on May 28, 2016 at Oakley Farms in Monks Corner, SC. From the moment, I arrived Shelby was happy and excited. While a tropical storm on her wedding day certainly wasn’t what Shelby had planned on, all that mattered was that it was the day she was marrying Dusty. With rain in the forecast, I brought along some umbrellas for the two of them to use for their portraits and they definitely came in handy since the rain didn’t stop all day. I was thrilled that Shelby and Dusty weren’t worried about getting a little wet and were willing to go along with all of my ideas. I just adore their photos (this first one of the two of them under the umbrella ranks among some of my all time favorites!) and love that they didn’t let the rain stop them from having a magical day. The barn that they were married in was absolutely gorgeous, complete with string lights and a chandelier. Congratulations to Shelby and Dusty! Thank you for having me be a part of your special day.
