It has been a busy couple of days! Saturday night I photographed my last event of 2009, and then Sunday morning, Mark and I got in the car and drove down New Orleans for Christmas. We’ve been having a fun week spending time with Mark’s family, celebrating my 25th birthday, doing some last minute Christmas shopping and playing cards.
Last night, we went out to see Christmas lights. First, we went to Celebration in the Oaks, where there were carnival rides and lots of pretty Christmas lights. Here are some photos from last night:
I’ve always loved carousels, so I had to get a few photos of it.
Afterwards, we went down to the French Quarter to get coffee and beignets at Cafe Du Monde. I love going there, and since I been there the last few times I was in New Orleans, I had to stop there this time! And I also got to see Jackson Square lit up with Christmas lights.
