‘Twas the Night Before Christmas…

Or at least we pretended it was the night before Christmas.

This weekend Mark and I went to my parents house to celebrate Christmas early with them since we will be spending Christmas with Mark’s parents this year. On Saturday night we had Christmas Eve followed by Christmas day Sunday morning. It was great to be able to share all of my family’s Christmas traditions with Mark, and I am looking forward to spending Christmas with his family Christmas day.

One of our Christmas traditions is having lots of hor d’oeuvres on Christmas Eve for dinner. My dad is in charge of cooking them and making them look pretty.

On Christmas Eve, my parents always give us pajamas. When my sisters and I were little, we would usually get matching Christmas pajamas that we would all put on before bringing out the milk and cookies for Santa. Now, my mom still gets us cute pajamas, but they aren’t all matching.

Mark also got his set of pajamas!

Everyone was excited to exchange presents!
